Today’s session began as always with a small talk explaining the task, creating scenarios using personas and their map created done form homework.
A point on the map is a place, 2 points form a line on the map and a line represents a journey being taken. So in this scenario imagine what these personas would do on this journey, and connect meaningfully to the assets in-between zip world and rib ride whilst giving an insight in too personal benefits gained. In order to try to reposition the adventure playground of north wales and that it is capable of incorporating wellness in way that it adds value to the connected experience thorough the net.
Team split the scenarios up between them and worked on them without much discussion with each other students seemed unsure to what degree these scenarios should be written. Perhaps an example of the task would show the level of depth expected to the students to help guide them. It is becoming a consistent theme that student require a bit more guidance but it is important to consider that the tasks should be presented in a way that it is vague and allows for a wide variety of outcomes and idea generation.
Students should try to explore ideas that may not seem logical as they can give you a new perspective and be more critical of each other’s work when discussing them, not long was left for the storyboards. There was only time for some quick sketches focusing on 1 idea of a fighter pilot bungee jumping of a bridge cutting back to a scene of him flying a plane can’t wait to see this.
